Folks,
I feel really silly having to post a second account on a lousy verbal flirt who is so bloody full of himself. But his outrageous antics seem to have no fullstops, or commas even; and his idiotic fans are outraged at the drop of a hat, knowing they have very little ground to defend, and think they can substitute abusive lingo for reasoning..
So for them, this is the latest. The man was addressing mediapersons at Mumbai, after returning from his 'ghastly' trip, and he snubbed the allegations on the whole thing being a drama (finally someone had the sense to ask!), by the following comments.
"It wasn't a drama. I don't want publicity. I hate people who rake up religious issues for their personal gains. I don't want to sound pompous here but I don't need publicity to promote my movie. I am too big a star for that."
Is anyone laughing with me or am i alone?
But then sir, why did you wear that 'Om Shanti Om' t-shirt while watching a cricket match in the stadium and saw to it that the cameras spotted you in your luxury pavilion, jumping up and waving for every single shot, no matter who played it?
Why sir, do you go to every single product launch possible close to your new releases, and talk more about those movies, and quip unabashedly about other stars, than the product itself?
And why sir, did you call yourself India's biggest brand? Is it 'branding' as in publicity, or as in that medieval molten rod used to mark the behinds of donkeys? The latter makes perfect sense.
Anyone could cite countless activities he's done over the years to see to it that his weakening charisma (which is the only selling point of 99% of his movies), is displayed with tremendous prominence. Anyways the point is, he's landed himself in a soup, and he knows it.
Promoting is not a crime, but have the bloody balls to admit it. Both him, and his really fucked-up fans.
And if I still am the only one who's laughing, I've found company in rediff.com's Sudhir Bisht.

well.. my bro.. i was actually preparing a reply which was getting a little big..but then u posted another one before i could.. so here is a small one.. one i can surely say that v r not the ones using abusive lingo here in place of reason.. it would be a good idea to read wat u wrote once again... and about the statement.. every word of which is true.. he absolutely doesnt need a publicity stunt like this to promote his movie.. apparently an srk-karan movie hardly needs anything more than the names.
and the talk abt product launches and wearing tshirts was so silly.. i never thought i'd hav to tell an mba student that these things r the basics of promoting something.. and abt the rediff article..its more shit like the one u wrote.. another intellectual showing his dislike for the star.. no different in anyway..
and u might not like to admit but he is india's biggest global brand.. all he needs to do is to show up..

Big or small, your comment will contain more outrageous grub than your star's routine blah blah. Trying to defend someone when you know you're on the wrong side of the equation is not a very sensible idea, i'd advice my little brother that. And surely i didnt learn that in MBA.
And thanks for that small lesson about the basics in marketing. But seems like you have cosily missed the part where the star said with an arrogance that sucks like himself, that 'he doesn't need to publicise his movies'. All i asked is, then why do it? Why show up? As usual, the replies from him or the fans have no connection with the original accusations. Same pompous nonsense.

The episode is blown out of proportion by the media and few anti - shahrukh folks . These sort of incidents has to condemned , if this happened with SRK , it can happen to me or you tomorrow . Obviously everybody is aware of the fact that who are the biggest racists on the planet . I dont understand the reason why few people here are targeting and hurting him . sitting in the couch in your living room and enjoying the fun on television is really a joyful experience .Just got to imagine if you were in his shoes . So much of atrocities are happening to Indians across the world , Have you forgotten about the recent assaults on indians in Australia ? SRk is an indian first , then a superstar , secondly how do you call his fans as dumb ? have you made a detailed study on each and every fan of his ? Terrorism & surveillance is definitely a matter of concern , but there should be a way to handle those , You are bound to respect a man's name and his faith .

I am not an ardent follower of shahrukh khan or his movies but you cannot rule out his "Stardom" atleast in india .A similar incident happened with our ex- President mr Abdul kalam . He dealt the issue rather diplomatically . You got to respect the fact that everybody do not react in the same fashion , that's why people are unique in their own ways . Calling him "jack ass " itself depicts the mindset of people here . Had this incident happened with mr Aamir khan , how would have many of you reacted ?.More than the incident its the hatred on SRK that people are expressing with their stance on this issue . I dont have to vouch for or defend SRk here , he has been in the industry for couple of decades now , and his throne is absolutely secure and unchallenged . He is the biggest brand in India . So it dosent matter if few cross section of people throws the kitchen sink at him . Even jesus was crucified , so with a lesser soul like shahrukh its understandable.

I thought of not responding on this topic anymore but since you have meddled into this , i got to tell you something as well . I dont have to play a Devil's advocate on this issue to impose my opinion on you folks. You got to explore the art of debating first , so that you can come up with some sensible counters . Its pretty vivid that yourself and Athul are bigtime haters of SRK . You were waiting for sniff of a chance to pounce on him . i am repeatedly reminding you guys " I am not a Fanatic " .But it doesn't mean that i have the licence to blabber about a Man who has won millions of hearts across the world , and his case is genuine. Mind you he is VVIP , The Airport authorities should have some basic information regarding the VVIP who is going to arrive on that particular day . And his vist must have been planned ahead , not that he just landed there out of the blue . Its a major lapse from the authorities .And he did coporate with them for the security check , but they prolonged the agony for nearly two hours which is quite ridiculous. And remember it was not SRK who created the fuzz. When he was asked about the incident he reacted in his own manner. It was a sensational news for the media that all news channels came up with different versions of the story. Even top diplomats condemned with what happened to him , so me as well as millions of his fans dont care a hang about what two of you feel.......ADios .
